On Monday 23rd March we held our Ladies’ Evening event - Credit Munch!  The evening started with the ’leading brand challenge’,  then the ladies split into groups and competed against each other to make the best tasting and most economical cake/biscuit/traybake recipe, buying their ingredients from the ’shop’ with their allowance!

Our own Jenny Daniels was speaker for the evening and talked to us not just of financial debt but about the greater spiritual debt we owe to God, reminding us that Jesus has paid that debt for us if we will come to Him.

As usual the evening ended with chat, coffee and delicious bakes.  A good time was had by all!

At Doncaster Evangelical Church we are Bible-believing Christians who meet at Wentworth Hall, Wheatley, in Doncaster.  We meet together to worship and serve God and to tell people how they can know Him, through the Lord Jesus Christ. You are welcome to join us!
